Thermal - Mechanical Engineer
About The Position
Chain Reaction designs and builds hardware that fuels disruptive blockchain technologies by accelerating compute performance. Our world-class teams are transforming the future of data, creating the infrastructure that will power the next generation of secure, scalable, green computing. The main bottleneck in scaling cutting-edge solutions in privacy tech, data analysis, and real-time computing is acceleration – existing hardware cannot keep up with data processing needs. Chain Reaction’s products reshape how data is processed and used on a global scale, and we’re looking for the brightest people to join us.
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer to lead the optimization of thermal management and packaging solutions for our advanced systems.
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics, and have hands-on experience with multi-ASIC high-density systems and immersion cooling.
Proficiency in thermal simulation environments is essential to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of our designs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and implement thermal management solutions for high-density electronic systems (multi-ASICs) for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct thermal simulations, analyses, and modeling using industry-standard software tools to predict, propose design improvements, validate, and optimize the thermal behavior of advanced thermal solutions under different scenarios – Flotherm is an advantage.
